Call center fed up with this number calling so I answered. Says they were from triage Housing about cavity wall insulation that we had and they can get us compensation. Told them we didn't have it so he progressed to to say the Government site said we did and how did i know that we didn't and they weren't trying to sell anything. This is a well known scam, they ask for the passcode, then use the passcode to enter your account, lock you out, order new handsets etc. and leave you with the £1,500 bill for a new iPhone. Calls from 0115-677-5963 are a Scam! If ever you don't recognise the number, DON'T SPEAK & JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anyone and after a short pause the line goes dead, then congratulations you've just successfully escaped being scammed! This is because it was a computer calling trying to establish if your number was in use and if a voiceline. If you'd spoken, your number would be logged as a voiceline and some clever con-artist would then be phoning you later.

Foreign woman calling herself Kimberley rang about the HMRC owing me money from my PPI claim. Scam so I hung up
Called twice, first time no response when I answered it, second time when I didn't answer didn't leave a voicemail.
Told me they were ringing as I had a car on finance; I don't. Then asked if I had purchased a car on finance or PCP between 2014 and 2019, again, answered no. Then asked if I had mortgage or loan recently, again said no. Then ended the call. Hopefully with those answers, they won't bother calling again.

A man with an English accent told me his name, but I don't remember it. I was told that the call was from y local energy consultancy and I was asked if in the past I had used the Government scheme for installing fibreglass in my loft. I said I hadn't used the Government scheme and I did have loft insulation that was installed and then boarded over. I tried to say that I wasn't going to allow the boards to be lifted and he talked over me to say that he wasn't interested and he hung up.
SCAM - Missed the call and dialled back. Automated message confirms company name as Equifirst. Further investigation seems to suggest it is a scam online investment racket. There is a legitimate company with the same name selling horse feed, but they are not located in the UK nor have an 020 number. Avoid!
