This number is a scam and or fraud, originates from Vietnam. Do not answer.

SCAM Fraud BEWARE ! This number has only recently appeared on this site (August 2023) from other people checking. Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. Fraud Scam. Vodafone support website has a page on which to verify that a number is calling from Vodafone. This is not a Vodafone number. Here's the information I could get from them before they hung up. The caller claimed to be from Vodafone promotional dept offering a new phone upgrade and 2 year contract. Caller was inconsistent in what they said. Once saying a verification email would arrive in 30 minutes then saying 1 hour. They switched for no reason between talking about iphone and Samsung phones.

Banking scam. Fake recorded message saying unusual transactions have occured on your account and to press 1 or 2 to speak to an adviser. A bit of a stupid scam, because you simply check your banking app on the spot and see there's no pending transactions!

Obvious fraud. They claim to be from o2, wanting to save you money. They actually use o2s own "forgotten password" link do send you a message directly from o2, with a code that they can use to access your account. DO NOT GIVE THEM THIS CODE!

Male said his name was John from Driveway Services? Asked if I still have a driveway at my property???? Asked him what the hell was he talking about and what did it have to do with him..... he hung up!!!

Message arrived over WhatsApp - I guess it's now the platform of choice for scammers, as bulk SMS costs money? Suspicious "hi, hope you are doing well" received, and nothing else. I'd suggest do not reply, not even to ask "who is this?", as it's likely a scam. If it was somebody I knew, I'd expect them to use my name and/or identify themselves if they can see we haven't communicated before.

Received a text saying: "Missed call: this person/number called at 17:38 on 21st Feb but left no message." I checked my call log, full service no missed calls. I would advise do not call the number which texted as it.was not sent from your phone network provider. Scam/Hackers - Blocked ????

Missed call - Missed the call. Rang back out of curiosity and got the message "This number has been suspended through suspected misuse or fraud. If affected call..." and gave the Fraud Line Interestingly, I look at my Blocked Numbers log and I have in the past blocked 0161 636 3721 - 3726, so it must be an allocation bought up by someone dodgy who just flips the outgoing number when it gets burned.
