Fraud SCAM Got a call from this number, 21/02/2024 at 16:41. Scam caller claiming to be carphone warehouse, which I have no account or dealings with. The people on the other end were talking together unaudibly for at least 30 seconds before some lady spoke through the phone claiming to be carphone warehouse, which she called ‘carphone company’. Hang up and block this number immediately.

I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. SCAM. I think this is a scam it was sent to me on a text per porting to come from one of my sons - it seems to be sent from Manchester and my son is somewhere not even in Uk.
It's a scam. Someone claiming to work for BT says your broadband is compromised. Either ignore or waste their time for as long as you're having fun at their expense.
