Had a call from them today saying i had won flights to Poland.I did text a code number from a can of tyskie beer as a competition to win flights to Poland. That was a couple of months ago so i thought it suspicious and told them i was not interested.

this number called me and the company said it was pensions review. they asked if they could speak to me and ended the call. i called them back and there was no mention of this being Pension Review.

Caller claimed I had a problem with malware on my PC and he would guide me through the repair of it. He asked me to turn on my computer and when I told him no, he got aggressive, told me my PC would screw up and then hung up.

cant calll back......has to be a spamming number.........called me at 2pm.....dont know who it is........

It's got one digit less that regular 0207 numbers, so it might not be a London number at all. In my case, when I answered my mobile, their system just hung up.

Was to do with house insurance company asking loads of questions about the building when it was built an if it was left empty at times through out the day sounds abit funny to me

It seems to be all sorts of scams, according to reports on other sites - bank account overdraft or debts, deliveries, etc. The variety would suggest it s a prank caller.

. fishing.scam. initially asks for personal details such as dob & postcode..No other details available at present.

This bunch have called me twice in as many days. I just had another call tonight. I m also registered with the TPS. Neither myself or my wife are in debt, but automated recordings are not to know that as the call bot relentlessly churns through its number database. Automated calls are extremely annoying as 1) All you can do is hang up (best option) and 2) They obviously don t deem you important enough to at least get a human being to pester you. Called my mobile saying they were from BT Business, asked to speak to my friend, Told them this is not his number, they asked for a contact fro him, I said you should have it, they said, this is the only number we have for him. Then asked, you do know him though? and I answered "Yeah". BT Business say the number is untraceable. they may have recorded me saying "Yeah" to use for fraud.

Phonecall from local-ish number(Chesterfield) said it was Jenny from the Hearing Centre and that she understood I previously worked in a noisy environment. I said No and she promptly hung up - didn t get to ask whether she had the right person or where she got my number from. I use a different number for work yet this came on my personal mobile and so work related calls wouldn t call me on that. Probably Claims call

Definitely a scam. BT, Openreach, TalkTalk, Virgin etc., will never call you about a technical issue unless you contact them.
