Called us asking to speak to our Google Ads account manager. Stated they were calling from Google ads team and that she was the Account Manager. They asked to speak to 2 people by first name, none of which work at our company. Unsure on this one.

Claimed to be calling from O2, Indian call centre. Offering a 40% discount off my next bill, but could not tell me the name of the account holder. Hung up when I asked who he wanted to speak to. Said he'd send 2 text messages for me to activate the discount!!!!! Why if he was from O2, and I was with O2 he'd have my details and could active the discount automatically. Block this number.

Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Received a call on my mobile from someone with an African accent who could barely speak English, ie he was reading from a script. He seemed to be saying he was from 'Tesco Mobile' but am not sure of that. We ended the call and blocked the number.
Caller said they were from BT and they detected suspicious activity on my router. I asked them if they were OK to have the conversation recorded - they hung up.

I was called by this number at 08:18 this morning by someone claiming to be "Amazon Prime" (recorded message) and invited to be transferred to cancel a subscription ('press 1'). The person then asked for my details and, when questioned, told me that it is not possible to contact Amazon directly or my bank over this. The conversation stank so I discontinued the call.

This phone number was featured in an office to let advert in the first episode of the first season of doctor who in 2005, opposite the house of fraser on mary street, above the lezzet kitchen.
