got a call from this number saying they are calling from an insurance review service and asked for what life insurance I have and when was it last reviewed and what benefits I'm getting. After a few seconds stopped talking and I had to hang up. Very annoying.

SCAM claimed to be calling from sky to sort out my router which is apparently faulty. I said we are not having problems with internet speed and would call myself if I have any concerns. He hung up.

Said they were calling to offer free inspection of loft insulation because the Government has designated some of the old stuff as "irritant". I asked who they represent and she said they work with a number of companies. I asked what her organisation was and she told me she'd get a manager to ring back in the next half hour. Unfortunately, all calls coming from 748887514x or 748887515x are spam calls. I have blocked several numbers already but new calls keep coming with new numbers.
Found this number in a PBX log system. The called number is not in use. This number is calling numbers outside UK. Probably spam.

Started talking about some life insurance but then the call dropped.
My mother has been contacted many times on this and other phone numbers. The message, from the caller is always the same, she tells my mother, first in English and then in Chinese that she has a package waiting for her, to collect from the Chinese embassy. This is clearly a scam call.

Received a call from this number on my Dutch mobile. Nobody on the line, just music so hung up.
Msg said from FCA and to press one first of all I don't have enough money for the Financial Conduct Authority to contact me and secondly if they scammed my account the would receive 1.54p

This was the number that called me back after responding to a search on Google for an emergency plumber. The booking for a call out was £50 to start with and then there would be charge for the work done. By the time the plumber arrived a friend had resolved the problem and he was not needed. He still insisted on doing something and then charged £220! When we challenged they reduced it to £150. I advised that this was a total rip off! Do not use 24/7 Emergency Services!
