When answered automated service states barclays and other bank customers etc entitled to ppi etc. when you ring back an automated nessage answers the phone saying about pension entitlments, if you press 9 apparently your number gets put on their do not contact list.
Is this a scam number as they called my mother for no reason? I will report it.

I was out all day dealing with a crisis which meant I went 23 hours before I got to bed. I found this number had called me. Out of courtesy I rang back in the morning, as I had been expecting someone important to call and wondered whether it was the person I wanted it to be. What a delightful girl! Called up asking for a Director who isn t based in our office or who ever comes here. I asked what database she was using. I train sales people so know the job can be tricky at the best of times. I then politely and jovially said "Go on then, Who are you an what you trying to sell?" To which she replied "Perfect. F**k off!" and hung up. I hope she has a properous career in telesales and her unpleasant experience of hurling me abuse for no apparent reason hasn t put her off her
