My mum received a call at 9.00pm on Tuesday from an aggressive foreign man wanting to talk to her about the car accident she had had. He was a fraudster and a scammer and because my mum did not know that such people existed she asked him what accident he was talking about and proceeded to tell him about an accident that I had had last year and one that my mum and dad had had about ten years ago. Now he won t stop calling her and that night he scared her by saying he would be round first thing in the morning

I told them i don t own car or even have a licence (which is true) they said not even as a passenger, told them No. They apologised and said they update system. Caller was automated voice claiming to be Bank Security. I ended the call immediately. I consider this call to be a dangerous criminal scamming attempt and rate it as zero trust level.
Text claiming HSBC have flagged my account due to ,unusual payee,, asking me to click on a link to either confirm or cancel that payee request. I don't have a HSBC account. CAUTION to those of you who do.
Anonymous, that is interesting as these scammers have also used 0161 354 9847 (as well as many, many others).
