Fraud This number was used to attempt a PayPal "fake payment invoice" scam/fraud. My customer received a fake PayPal receipt for Bitcoin and the "support" number they gave prompted multiple callbacks from this number. They will "refund" a bigger amount than the invoice says, then plead with you to get the overpayment back. Once they have your cash, the original "refund" vanishes from your account. Be warned!!

Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!

Suspecting fake supplier. We contacted him through a vacation rentals' booking platform to book a villa on the 5th of February in order to book for the 10th. On the 6th he writes to us: "Hello, unfortunately we can't accommodate you because the villa was double booked." This is so unfair! The availability back then allowed to book the property with no problems. He hasn't even refunded us the money. We suspect a scam owner.

I used him to check if my info actually was leaked and then I rejected the transaction and cancelled my card lol. Pretty funny call, although dangerous to those who aren’t very IT literate. I hope the lad is able to find a job soon so he can stop the scams, assuming he actually wants to stop…

I received an automated voice call from this number, telling me that they were from my Internet provider and my Internet services will be disconnected due to illegal use. They requested me to "press 1 to speak to an advisor" but I hung up. I then returned the call from my landline and received an automated reply telling me that nobody was available to take my call. Pretending to be from Virgin Media Cyber security department, informing me that there is someone in California using my IP address for illegal purposes, but he would help me sort it out. Refused to tell me the name on the account or the account number because it was a recorded call, having told me it was a secure line and that he would "prove" to me that he was from Virgin if I gave him the information he asked for.

Absolute scam. Claimed to be from OpenReach told me they would switch the internet off for 72 hours as our IP address was public and it was a GDPR issue. When I told them to make our IP address private as they actually own the internet, they told me they couldn't. I had to run a software on my laptop to do it. Literally do not do anything they say!
