Scam leaving voice messages saying there is a law suit against me and that if I don't act, my NIH number will be void. Phoned them back up, a gentleman in a call centre picked up, saying "HMRC, this is Steve speaking". I explained I had a call from this number about a law suit, he then asked for my name, which I gave him and he then said they can't find me in the system so he would need to ask for more information. Called my mobile saying they were from BT Business, asked to speak to my friend, Told them this is not his number, they asked for a contact fro him, I said you should have it, they said, this is the only number we have for him. Then asked, you do know him though? and I answered "Yeah". BT Business say the number is untraceable. they may have recorded me saying "Yeah" to use for fraud.
