My girlfriend woke me up by kissing my cheek when she got home late. This morning I checked my phone — she stayed at her sister's last night.
SCAM claiming to BT and threatening to disconnect my phone and internet.
Caller advised he was calling from BT Openreach regarding my broadband being slow. Would I like to go to my router, at that point I put the phone down. He then called back 3 times!

Asian voice called me claiming to be from EE, offering 40% off charges. I could see it was an Inverness number so said I didn't believe he was from EE, at which point he said I could fcuk myself! Number now blocked.

Ballantyne is listed as a Director of 'Home Cover Group Limited' yet another company offering extended warranties for home appliances. Their telephone number is 0333 2125609. There are a few postings already online indicating this is a further scam. When they call they imply you already have extended warranty cover with them and are asking
