Just had a call from this number, which my phone identified as potential fraud, so didn't answer it. Cheked on here and it looks like there has been a lot of activity from this number.
As soon as I picked up the phone all I could hear was laughing. I hung up after that

This unknown number has called repeatedly and again today at 16.10hrs. Have not picked up. Leaves no message.
SCAM. They attempt to sell you courses for over £2,000 and insult you if you refuse to buy them. If you ask regards product they have no technical knowledge, but they will keep repeating it's certified while is not.

Looks like this is associated with the scammer on 02080720015 something to do with mobile phone scams. I got a call from them seconds after the call from this number.

Said from BT regarding my Internet, when I questioned the caller was given abuse, definitely a scam.

This person/company phoned today without my consent and even though I’m TPS registered as I explained to them, they couldn’t care less.
The caller's accent was so strong I could not understand a word he said!

I'm giving a serious warning to all girls, especially here in UK meeting with him. I hope nobody will be the next victim and suffer the same faith with me.

This was the number that called me back after responding to a search on Google for an emergency plumber. The booking for a call out was £50 to start with and then there would be charge for the work done. By the time the plumber arrived a friend had resolved the problem and he was not needed. He still insisted on doing something and then charged £220! When we challenged they reduced it to £150. I advised that this was a total rip off! Do not use 24/7 Emergency Services!
I rang the number back it’s about PPI saying I had money back in 2019 I told the lady I didn’t receive any money and to remove me from their database She started to raise her voice asking why would they do that when I had received money! I told her I had NOT received any money and to remove me from database. She started to speak I cut her short and said these calls should be removed remove me immediately and hung up. The number 0800 862 0818 is genuine, but everyone should always consider if a number is spoofed - try to get them to tell you something about you that they know already. Eg if they ask for your email, tell them a fake one and see if they know it's fake. If they don't, they may not be genuine.

Pretends to be from BT. They already have some of your personal information to gain your confidence. They ask you to confirm a pass code that they send to your phone or email which gives them access to your BT account and more personal information. They then try to get you to log on to your computer etc.

Fraud / Scam............... States they're from BT with alarming call that your router is faulty and that your internet line is public. Then starts to asks questions about the lights on router, who uses internet, even knew home address, at that point I hung up. I contacted BT - they do not have any such number listed in their network, also they confirmed no calls were made to line from themselves.
