Robin called. Sounded foreign. Said he was calling from the call blocking and scam department. When I asked what company he was calling from he said "the national call blocking company limited" i said there was no such thing. Curious how this was 24 hours after "microsoft" called me and I told them I didn't believe them..... Told him the only legit call blocking was The Telephone Preference Service, and he hung up.

Missed call but when I tried to call back, the number is not recognised. Beware, this came through with +44 in front of the London 0208, which means it came from outside the UK. Most likely a scam

Fraud - the cold caller had an incorrect version of my name which has been used by other nuisance callers and offered debt counselling which I neither sought nor need.

Fraud, Claiming to be from HMRC for partial tax payment. They hung up when I asked them to authenticate themselves and provide me an HMRC phone number to call them back.

Threatened to kill me

This number called & said they were a bank & they had noticed 2 large amounts had been taken out of my account & to press 1 to speak to someone. I just put the phone down

Scam pretending to be Three mobiles - rude and abusive when I confirmed that I am currently taking Three to court for their poor service, so I know that they would not be marketing me.

Said they were BT, I had too many people using my IP. The account name was wrong. They said they could block them from their server, but it would be better from my PC. After my challenges they sent a text message with a verification code. It said to change my password. I did. Had one previously, real BT support said it was a scam. Assumed this identical call was too. Only the false account name was a clue, otherwise how can you tell?

I requested withdrawal of my money and small part Got back to Me but over 1.3k was declined at first , then promised via WhatsApp and email that it will take up to2 or 3 weeks it was in the end of May ! When I asked them to contact my husband's business directly they stated that the only number they had (which is our home number). They gave me a reference number and asked if my husband could call them. It all sounded very plausible - please be aware.
