Internet. Calling from a Northern Irish telephone number. Claim to be from BT checking your router's download and upload speeds and wanting me to run a program so they can have access to my computer to supposedly clearing any faults. I did not run program.
A SCAM - CALLED ME I PICKED UP THE PHONE AND THEY JUST GO OFF BEEN DOING THIS ALL WEEK I'VE BLOCKED THEM BUT BACK THEY COME WITH A NEW NUMBER - I WISH I COULD PLUG MY PHONE LINE INTO THE ELECTRIC MAINS AND SEND THEM A SHOCK . someone about home insulation, wanted to know if owned or rented my home...Genuine caller probably not as slammed down the phone once had the answer re whether rental or not.

Fraud trying to obtain financial details
This is a scam number pretending to be Amazon UK. They pretended that i had mistakenly signed up for 'their' yearly subscription and stated i they were due to take 79.99 out of my account today if i did not cancel immediately. They stated that they could sort this out online and that I may be due a refund. I asked them to call back and contacted Amazon service desk who explained that they had never called me and that i was still subscribed on monthly terms. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR DETAILS.
This looks to be a scam. I telephoned this number after missing a call and receiving a voicemail message from someone calling himself "John" asking me to call another number. The above telephone number is an automated voicemail service(possibly USA), with no company name given or any indication of identity.
