SCAM text claiming to be from a post office delivery man called Simon who had been unable to deliver with a link to a site for redirection. Probable scam They message their phone has broke starts Hi mum then asks you to message on whatsapp with a 07588 prefix They claim they are calling from a friends number If it is genuine then a child would always call soon after if you do not reply to a text message etc

But the 121 message service only catches the end of the message which asks you to press now to avoid court proceedings. Therefore this appears to be a Scam and the number should be treated with extreme caution. This is the second time in a few days I have been targeted and the number also had 07738 prefix but followed by 207964

They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!
