I also get lots of calls from this number. I asked the nature of the company and why they are calling me for. The chap normally gets very aggressive repeating to me over and over that I am owed PPI from my bank. I just kept asking the nature of the call and what the name of his company. He did not like this one bit explaining, he wanted needed to confirm my postal details, and the person he was talking to. I don't know who this was calling. After answering there was a recorded message which said 'Goodbye'.

Pretended they were TSB, and that someone tried to take out 250 to pay Apple, they put the transaction on hold and now need to generate me a new card, new sort code and new account number. Called him out on it by saying will visit branch to sort out as never heard of anyone changing a sort code before...I am guessing he would have asked me to verify all those details in order to change them. Scam, scam, scam as soon as I said that he hung up.

Cold calling is never a good thing. No company/salesman should have the right. And anyone giving them info for a quote deserves their bank accounts emptying.
