3. Annoying. I had a missed call from this number. Rang off when I rang the number back.SPAM Silent call
Some clown demanding to speak to an IT manager. Gave the name of someone who doesn't even work here ! Turned out he couldn't even phone the correct company. As if any sensible organization would pick up the phone to complete strangers enquiring about their IT systems ! Almost certainly some kind of scam. Number blocked.
Selling Life Insurance. A chap called Tyrone called - I asked him to delete my number from their system - his response "oh, are you getting a lot of calls about life insurance, that is probably because you're on the wrong one, let me go through these questions and we can find a better life insurance policy for you"...
Recorded message purporting to confirm money taken by Amazon and further amount to follow.
Claim they are from British Gas line is very bad hissing and static Could hardly hear them From what I could make out they stated they could save me money on bills But couldnt hear the rest All other calls I make to family and friends are fine and clear So I suspect the call originates outside of the UK and routes through a system in this country which explains the poor line quality

SCAM Recorded message in female robovoice mentioning HRMC, threat of lawsuit for tax evasion etc. Hung up before message gave press 1 option for advice.
The text message received from 01628 200907 Is a SCAM. It reads “You have unpaid congestion charges. Please pay promptly to avoid fines. Click. (On the provided link). “ NO NO NO Click nothing. It is a scam. Think. Nobody from an unknown source would send a text to an unnamed person. You would receive an official letter, addressed to the registered keeper of the vehicle. SPAM - so many calls from this number and very similar ones.
This number is Medivet... their support centre is in Watford.
SCAM most definitely a scam - recorded announcement saying your Visa card has been compromised with a transaction of £300 at Amazon, etc. Instructed to press 1 to report it - DON'T! Just put the phone down.
Called me for a free software? and was from microsoft. SCAMMER!
