Caller asked if I was (Christian name) and identified himself as Jason, didn t quite catch the name of the company. Assured me he wasn t trying to sell me anything but that he was calling to review my life insurance provision etc was all in order. (In other words, he was hoping to persuade me to buy some more). My National Insurance number has been used illegally apparently and they're blocking it so I need to dial 1 to speak to someone to sort it. There is a National Insurance scam doing the rounds, so rather than dialing 1, I'll be sure to block it.
