These people are phoning me from 8.30am until late at night, asking if im me and going through security questions to verify who i am. I tell them ive already spoken to someone but i have to go through the same old crap four or five times a day. My property was repossessed in 2010, by the bank who then put touchstone in charge and they let the property through an estate agent, during this time someone they let the property too ran up a bill with Scottish power. I got possession of my property back through

company 'turn debt around'. no idea where why they are calling me or where they've had my number from. just left an automated voicemail.

William from the refunds dept at something Dander (didn t catch the first bit. Knew my name. Reassured me it wasn t a sales call. Said I just needed to confirm two things. Started to ask how many loans..... And I hung up. Cos contrary to what these scamming pr*cks think, we re not all stupid. Blocked the number.

Very poor line, claimed to be some kind of investment company for crypto investments, became very hostile when i advised them that i'm voluntary bankrupt

This is the first unwanted call to have got through to us after we bought a BT call blocker phone 2 months ago.

Be careful. This is a local number to my area but they are the usual scammers pretending to be from TalkTalk. I suspect they are hiding their real contact number.

nCalled back using 141 to hide identity.
nFound it was a marketing company making scam calls.

Selling advertising space in GP Surgery.

I just checked this number as I got suspicious. A guy called Glen Lowther is supposed to be coming to my house in an hour to sell advertising space for Wood brook Medical Centre, Loughborough. When I call the number no-one replies. Will they come to my house?

They lead you to believe that they are calling for feedback on your order. They do not state that this is a sales call regarding extended warranty - which is exactly what they are doing. They make it seem that it is a fee-free service being offered and only mention the cost at the end. They offered me a warranty on 3 appliances for ?200 pounds a year but phrase it as this is only ?1.50 for your appliance. Very dubious sales tactics. I would not be remotely interested.
