Fraud - charges to my account that never happened. They did not use my name or the bank.
Answered and immediately a pre-recorded message said something like: "Thank you. Now that your number has been verified we will call you back shortly." and hung up. Looks like I just got added to another spam list! Blocked.

Called me twice. Today I checked the number. The pitch: calling from my mobile provider to offer a 30% discount off my bill, then they want to know how much you pay for your bill. If you say sure - they will try and set this up on the phone, or direct you to your provider website. like this is an option, I chose my provider's website, they hung up. Today's call it was the 30% discount again - and hung up.

Far Eastern accent, and as soon as I asked him to repeat who he said he was calling from, he hung up. I dialled the number with the prefix 141, but it did not ring out. Clearly a SCAM. I had a call from 0161 524 5263 but the caller rang off before I could get to my phone. Within seconds the phone rang again, this time showing 020 4538 7049. I thought it all must be some sort of scam so didn't answer and no messages were left.

Wife took a call on our landline from 'Amazon', for me saying (female voice, foreign accent) Prime membership was about to expire and I should renew at 79.99 or cancel. The call was not responded to. To my knowledge I'm not currently a prime member (and usually careful to not accidentally become so when ordering!). I would not expect such calls from Amazon anyway, so seems that Prime was being used as a excuse to go phishing/scamming?
