got called today, they said they would make laptop run faster again if i paid ?315!!!! i did give them remote access to the laptop as i didn t know it was a scam till l8r! i am now attempting to gaet rid of stuff on laptop

I m so glad i Googled the number while talking to this lovely lady, yes all fair and well it might a great deal and for a worthy cause but I m already giving to my own choice of charity so was not prepared to risk 79.99 being taken from my account should i miss the cut off point or they take it earlier than stated. I have been called three times today from this number - the caller claims to be calling from Amazon and asking me to respond by tapping numbers. I have not taken any action as I believe this to be a scam.
No Answer when picked up. eventually a recorded 'Goodbye', so probably either either checking my number is live or expecting people to bring back if their answerphone picked up the message and its assumed an important call missed.
