They said they were from Virgin Media and were warning that the connections were being slow but I found the caller very difficult to understand so I will verify with Virgin direct
Gave her name and the name of the company then said they were asking householders to take part in a survey, at which point I interrupted her with a two-word response. The thing is I m registered with the TPS and shouldn t receive calls like this.
This number keeps ringing me but never leave a message!!
Nothing useful. Hung up with a 'beep' when answered.

Dropped my bill, selling extra internet cover. Never asked for details of bank ect. Seemed like new salesman, almost scared, perhaps my growling Scottish accent would explain that.
Fraudulent - same pattern as other posts - asks for quote. Went into branch and paid a cheque in for much more than the order value then requested reimbursement of difference. We did not fall for it because we smelt a rat. Total scammers DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE

This is the latest number using the old con about your IP address being compromised and will be cut off in 24 hours. The message was in an American accent, for fun I pressed 1 and was put through to an Indian call centre. I could hear lots of voices in the background.
