It is an appliance cover company "All Sorted Cover" more than likely somehow got my info from a recent appliance I registered, even though I registered it through D&G for a friend's appliance. Says they are calling fom BT about a problem with internet speed and need to log onto my laptop to fix it. I kept them on the phone for about 30 mins playing along until I got bored and told them they would need to book an appointment if they wanted to try scam me.
The number is calling out making a claim after having an accident. I asked them to remove my number from their call sheet.
Someone claiming to be from O2 but I don t believe him because he acted like a weirdo -asking me if I was over 18, and when I said I don t have the time to talk to you, he said - so you re under 18 then, and hung up on me. Perhaps they are scouting for 18 year olds? (Weird) Perhaps they are mad. Perhaps they are scammers. But they are definitely not polite or professional so I doubt O2 would have such representatives.
