Keeps ringing several times each week. I know its telemarketing as it only rings a couple of times before cutting off! Why can t the telecomms authorities DO something about these "sons of a thousand fathers"?

Called by an Asian gent who eventually answered me (suspicious already) said he was a technician calling from some company or other (couldn t resolve company name) and said I had something wrong with my computer updates. I was getting calls daily from 01782401123 which I ignored. Research showed it was Advantis a know Telephone pest. They are now trying new tactics with thier new number 08448241820. If I have a debt, which I dont, then write to me, oh i forgot you cant because I dont answer the phone and give you any details. Advantis you can do one will be reporting this number as I have done with the other to ICO and Ofcom.

got an email saying i was eligible for a tax refund aparantly this is a scam and the sender should be tracked and prosecuted.

Received text from 07413284805 saying "...records indicate you may be entitled to ?3750 for mis-sold insurance" and to text back or call this 0844 number. I ve never taken the insurance - its a scam. I wonder if there is an automated way to respond to their text and overload it... Just a thought.

This number has called me at least once a day and never leaves a message. I know I could always just call it back to find out who it is but I really don t want too contact a number I do not know? Pains in the backside.

They call leaving voicemails saying ‘this is not a marketing call, please call back’ I’ve also had texts asking to call back quoting the following reference number...which is different every time. And the name they use to address me via text spells both my first and last name wrong (not just one letter wrong, almost incoherently wrong!) so I will be blocking these obvious scammers!
