Phoned me today. I'm not even with BT. Said they were going to disconnect my phone line and to press certain buttons. It must be a scam. Be carefully out there.

Received three calls in a row from this number, from two women and one man. All claimed to be calling from Liebermann in the Netherlands. Ask to speak to me using only my first name. They wanted to arrange a free call back to discuss me doing online trading. When I asked how they obtained my name and number all three of them hung up.

My mother had a text from this number stating that their had been fraudulent activity, she had apparently spent ?40,00 in Argos this morning which she hadn t. Someone rang from that number claiming to be from Natwest but my mum was sceptical so she rung off and called me. I looked up a real number for Natwest (0800 011 3312) which she rang. Automated call, phone today, Saturday asking for ***** press 1 if this is you, which it wasn t, but still went on with ref number and when to call their office, then gave a totally different number to the one shown on my caller id. Me thinks it is either ppi or debt collector? Looking at the comments, it looks like debt collector. The government should look to ban these scumbuckets! If you owe money then it should be the the people you know that chase you, not these rats!

They called to offer me a free pension review. Knew my address and mobile number. They said new regulations entitled me to check I was not being overcharged for my pension. Seemed very keen for me to get a an IFA to visit. I asked if they were FCA approved and they said no, but that the IFA s were.
