nobody speaking at the other end. as we are TPS registered this has to be a scam/fraud caller. phone appears to be a Vodaphone number located in the arse end of Cumbria so its obviosly suspicious. reporting it to Ofcom and blocked number

Fraud, was rung by this number this morning, nothing was said but computer voice said "Goodbye" and ended the call. Tried to ring this number back as was expecting call from a customer and network reply was "Number not recognized.

Have just had similar calls saying I would receive hundreds of calls. Confirmed name and postcode but when started on expiry date of card put phone down . Lady with Indian accent.
The asked me about my mortgage money left, years of mortgage, who I was insured with etc.. When I asked for proof they hanged up the phone saying I was being ridiculous
It s spam you call the number and you get charged be careful they make out they are your phone provider.
SCAM keeps telling me my national insurance number is compromised and involved in criminal activity

Claimed to be Das Energy working with the Government to monitor energy supply rates and would check the rates we were offered at renewal against rates they could get from the same suppliers, but the started going on about they were trying to book 2017 rates for future renewals so clearing looking for a sale not at renewal. Reported to IOC as were are registered with TPS.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. I missed a call from what appeared to be a mobile 07937933921 I rang back but no one spoke but found on my next bill that I had a charge for personal numbering to ring this number back and I have mobile calls included for free normally. Beware you will pay a premium to ring this number and it isn t an 070 number!
