SCAM as they say it’s from LLOYDS but I don’t have any Lloyds accounts
Call center: guy claiming for be from by openreach wanting me to tell him all about my internet setup, and telling me to connect to the internet on my laptop as there is an issue with my broadband speed. sounds like a scam to me, broadband is working fine!

Rang long enough to trigger a voicemail but when listened to, it was as if they put diwn straight away. On researching seems to be linked to a telefone company but can t find any further details.

Said he was calling about washing machine insurance renewal, I said it was an Indesit, he hung up. He used my maiden name, the machine s not even in my name and it s not insured
Rehan Ali was recommended and everything went through smoothly. I did get confused with accessing my account as I tried to do it through British Gas online, who kept saying they did not have a record of me, eventually I twigged that I access the account through Britishgaslite.co.uk not British Gas. We are now waiting for a smart meter to be fitted. I have been given a date and a time rather than a day or half day slot, I just need to see if they turn up, but so far 5 star rating.
after finding this no on telephone bill i knew i had not made this call. after re3ading pages and pages of york dialling code numbers with variations it is obvious these are scammers. what can be done about it
