This number keeps calling me more than once a day.It's really annoying. Who is it?
A recorded voice indicates an outstanding tax issue. Asking you to press 1 to be connected. Failure to do so will result in a warrant for your arrest (on the grounds of tax fraud) being issued. Her Majesty's Inspector of taxes would not phone if there was an issue. They would write to you. They know your address, but fraudsters and scammers like this do not. Do not press to accept the call. if you do they will know the number is in use an probably sell your number on to more scammers.

Hi guys.. We all keep getting these calls!! I know its annoying, illegal, upsetting, etc.. I get probably 5-10 on a daily basis, ranging from PPi, boilers, hearing aids, accidents and many more! When you tell them ur not interested, this is the worst thing you can do, because they WILL NEVER DELETE YOUR NUMBER!! They gets commissions just for contacting you!! So this is what I do now.... Called today just before 11.00 am. As the number was unrecognised it was allowed to go to the answering machine.. Within a few seconds the call was terminated and no message was left.

11.04 October 19. This was a scam call (male english voice well spoken) stating that it was our internet provider and that our internet will be terminated due to illegal activity. Press 1 to speak to one of our customer care (or something like that). I didn't press 1 but then a female voice started speaking. I hung up.
