I tell them ive already spoken to someone but i have to go through the same old crap four or five times a day. SCAM I am assuming this is a scam number because1) its an unknown number from London, where I am not expecting any calls (I'm in Scotland), 2) I'm harrassed daily with scam calls, mostly from London. 3) the vm this number left was electronic music notes for 30 sec and then disconnect.

well, for the first time ever, I blocked one of these annoying numbers - this one! and that was because i had to block them twice in a week (two different numbers, same town). thanks to the person who linked ICO in this thread, it was really quick.
Called every day now from a number beginning 0208 xxxxxx. This number 0208 275 4022 today. So many scam calls now I let every call go to the answerphone and just use the mobile, this is so persistent that I called back from mobile. There was no connection, tried the other niumbers beginning 0208 received in the last 7 days - BT recording saying numbers unrecognised, Have no idea if this is a scammer or genuine - but if its genuine they are doing a poor job as you cant call back.
