A recorded voice indicates an outstanding tax issue. Asking you to press 1 to be connected. Failure to do so will result in a warrant for your arrest (on the grounds of tax fraud) being issued. Her Majesty's Inspector of taxes would not phone if there was an issue. They would write to you. They know your address, but fraudsters and scammers like this do not. Do not press to accept the call. if you do they will know the number is in use an probably sell your number on to more scammers.

This number calls my mobile most afternoons. There is never anyone there if I answer. I have blocked my number with the TPS but they still call. Flaming nuisance.
SCAM Some sort of financial scam. They have a great opportunity to do with the German markets apparently. Pretty similar to the crypto currency calls that are also happening.

Fraud Left a computerised voicemail claiming that my Amazon account had been compromised, and that a refurbished iPhone had been ordered, costing over £300. This company calls and asks for numerous different people . I have called back three times asking for them to remove my number and yet today they have called twice again . This is harassment looking for people who do not live nor have my phone number, I have emailed them and I will take this further . Absolutely disgusting
