Automated call Recieved a call from this number threatening it was a Fraud investigation giving me a reference number then directing me to press one to get through to an agent. If I hung up and ignored the call I may end up with a fine or court proceedings.no reference as to what the call was related to? Very strange and no reason why I would even recieve such a call. Repeated calls from this number. I finally answered. They knew my name (first name) and claimed to be from a company I couldn't understand the name of despite repeated requests for them to repeat it. They said they were calling to review my life policies. On the basis my life policies are with a company whose name sounds nothing like what they said, I told them I have no policies with them. The caller paused, said thank you and hung up.
I moved house four months ago. I have a private and protected landline number (used to be called ex-directory). I have a call from this number at 7.15 pm on a Sunday evening??? How and why?? I'll just block it but I shouldn't have to and telephone numbers should NOT be shared by whoever and however my private number was made available.

Call from 02034589975 the call is originating in an Indian call centre and the caller asks for name, DOB and address before telling me they've located my Vodafone account (which doesn't exist and my details were entirely fictional). The call is a scam designed to illicit bank details for a new phone contract. I would urge everyone to block this number and not give them any info at all.

A cold call. Caller said that I had a problem with my internet for 3 weeks and his engineers were fixing the problem. Caller did not use my name or the name of my internet provider. Caller did not answer any of my questions but carried on reading from his script. I am sure that this was some sort of SCAM attempt. As usual I did not give the caller any information that would identify me or any account that I may have.
