I asked how they have my number and she said from a shared database of all UK providers, although this would seemingly breach GDPR for sharing customer's contact details and wouldn't make sense for the businesses to risk losing customers this way. Awaiting callback from my GP when this call came. Male caller talked about a free medical emergency pendant, but implied that there was a paid membership. It increasingly sounded like a sales call and I couldn't really see how this related to my medical issue. He asked about my willingness to give a testimonial, talking about medical response times, peace of mind for family - I was becoming further mystified as to why I was being called. Suspicious.

Caller claimed to be from BT openreach calling about internet issues. They asked me to run a speed test and when I said I had 69 download and 18 upload they said that the difference was an issue. When I pointed out that it was always like that, and wasn't supposed to be the same they hung up. Obviously a scam.

Automated voice telling me there were charges to my account. One from amazon and one an international money transfer. I could press 1 to allow or 2 to speak to someone about it. LOAD OF RUBBISH, TOTAL SCAM JUST LOOKING FOR PERSONAL DETAILS AND BANK DETAILS. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS NUMBER.
Constantly phoning about an actual accident, where they got this information I don't know, but they seem to be relentless and are insistent. They are a scam.

I had a letter from Bluestone Credit Management (or so I thought), the other day. I am now thinking it could be a scam letter because when I did some checking on the internet the phone number (01142 317 413), on the letter was completely different then the phone number given on Bluestone’s internet site. I am now going to forward a copy of the letter to HMRC to see if they can confirm if it is fake.

Scam, they are calling using numbers from Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol and using Mobiles. If you call them out on it they instantly hang up. I've had the same man on the phone 8 times now using different numbers.

Person of asian origin said he was from Currys, asked does he mean the electronic retailer no reply given he then went in to retirick regards mobile networks, blocked the number as I have had quite a few of these type of calls over the last couple of months.
