repeated calls from this number which I do not usually answer but on the 1 occasion I did it was a silent call. I phoned them to complain and asked to be removed from their data base. I subscribe to Telephone Preference Service but still get these nuisance calls

Following up a comment that this number might be Friends of the Earth, I emailed FoE and was told the number is a fund-raising agency called Listen, used by FoE. At my request FoE has deleted my number. I suggest that anyone who keeps getting calls from this number also contacts FoE via the Contact Us form on the website, to ask for their phone details to be removed so no more calls are received.

I got several calls from this number and last night he left a voicemail message. He wanted to meet up for sex, I have no clue who this person is or how he got my number. He said they got it at a London club but I don t live there or go to nightclubs. Really weird, he called at 11:56pm and again at 00:05am. I ve heard the same number is used for harassing people about porn, parking tickets and many other ridiculous calls.

This number is used by Boku, a phone collection service (based in San Fransico, USA - with supposedly Europe wide offices) that collects "subscriptions" from, normally inadvertantly, "subscribing" to on-line adverts, messages and web sites. Boku send you a confirmation text, using this number, to tell you that you have just subscribed again. Phonecall from local-ish number(Chesterfield) said it was Jenny from the Hearing Centre and that she understood I previously worked in a noisy environment.
