Automated caller stating that my internet was to be disconnected as it had been compromised in several countries. I was advised to press 1 to be connected to an advisor who would then help me to change my IP provider ! This is not the first time I have had a call like this but from 2 different numbers.On the first occasion I ignored it and contacted my provider on that occasion who told me that it was a scam. I m sure this is one also.

SCAM The guy calls and says the warranty on my 13 year old machine is expiring today and as its still in woorking order, they have an offer from £12pm to £9pm... SCAM - Tried to convince me that they were calling on behalf of a government debt consolidation scheme. When I said I wanted to check the validity of the company, they tried to convince me that they were genuine. I pointed out to them that any genuine company would be fine for their customers to do due diligence and that the fact they were trying to stop me doing that just screamed scam. They hung up on me.
