Told me he was from Windows but when i challenged him he told me he was getting very angry with me and wanted to use slang words. Then told me he needed money and I should give him some as people like me are rich because the government gives me money. Got even more aggressive when I said no . Numerous calls from this number. also from 01818894557. I attempted to call back both these numbers but numbers do not exist. I got so fed up I played along with him for 15 mins - he wanted to take control of my PC in order to fix (non existent) problems with my router. What he would have done is anybody s guess, but I assume it would not be to my advantage and probably would have cost me money !

Insurance scam cold call twice 12.12.2022 at 12:59 and 15:19. When asked what they were trying to sell me, they closed the call. On the second occassion when I asked where they had obtained my number, they closed the call. I've now blocked.

SCAM Automated call claiming to be from visa stating there has been a charge of £699 in Amazon gift vouchers. I hung up before the call finished and blocked the number.
SCAM Caller said that they were from Curry's PC world. I knew it was a scam call and told the caller I wasn't interested and ended the call. If they were a genuine caller then they would have known that Curry's PC world no longer exists as it's now known as just Curry's. I checked the number and it actually belongs to Wee Timorous Beastie Cafe in Stirling, Scotland.

When answered automated service states barclays and other bank customers etc entitled to ppi etc. when you ring back an automated nessage answers the phone saying about pension entitlments, if you press 9 apparently your number gets put on their do not contact list.

Cold call. Informed caller that my number is registered on TPS service to avoid such calls. Caller refused to believe and said would phone back later even though I instructed them not to. Number obtained via 1471 system. Same caller phoned back 11 minutes later. AN ABSOLUTE NUISANCE. COMPLAINT LODGED WITH TELEPHONE PREFERENCE SERVICE.
