I have received 2 computer generated messages about an Amazon account from this number. On the surface it appears to be a local number but I believe it is a scam.

When I answered the call a man said he was calling from a security company which installed alarms etc - I said I was not interested and he said ok and I switched off phone. It was to my mobile number which I have only given to friends and family - cannot understand how I am now getting calls on this phone mainly from phones which appear to be in the North of England. Lots of times no-one answers but equally I do not answer most of them as presume they are scams

Medical = told me they were Public Health and had I had any major health problems recently. I sharply told them that was none of their business and they hung up. They had my name to ask if it was me on the line which is a bit worrying.

This number calls and claims to be investors. Very rude individuals who call and push you to invest and they are so rude when you decline. They keep changing numbers but it is the same network of people - they are using different numbers to call - I have already blocked at least 10 other numbers they have used to contact me- stay well clear of them please!! Message arrived over WhatsApp - I guess it's now the platform of choice for scammers, as bulk SMS costs money? Suspicious "hi, hope you are doing well" received, and nothing else. I'd suggest do not reply, not even to ask "who is this?", as it's likely a scam. If it was somebody I knew, I'd expect them to use my name and/or identify themselves if they can see we haven't communicated before.

Probably a scam. Recorded message talked of transaction on my account (what account?) being halted as it was an unusual transaction, and to press 1 to call back.
Apparently I have internet problems. I said "really?". Tha Asian male replies " yes really". Then they ended the call.
I worked for this guy, Sat. He sexually harassed me on while working. I told him I wasn't into men.
