Lots of missed calls from them and when I answered they hung up.
Caller supposedly from National Home Cover asking me to renew a policy I actually did not have. Slightly wary.
Virgin Media apparently asked for them to call landline instead and just hung up. Guessing scam.
Used to send out recorded messages saying internet compromised - its a SCAM!
A new number for me and also, of course, unrecognised. Thus Call Blocker again came to the fore and is now going to be permanently blocked.

SCAM Seems to be a call center as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities. Had a call from this number today firstly on my mobile which I managed to reject. It immediately then rang my landline which I didn t answer. Who are these people and how did they get my mobile number? When you ring the number back they don t identify themselves and ask you to leave a message. Sounds very dodgy so be aware.

Have been called repeatedly by this number. This caller follows typical silent call behaviour by hanging up as soon as my answerphone switches over to record a message. Anyone legitimate would leave a message. High probability this is at best a cold sales call.
