I was unable to answer the call from this number because my screen was playing up. It did not light up in any way so I couldn't see how to answer or anything. A few minutes later I needed to make a call so I spent some time getting the screen to light up in order to dial out. Surprisingly this number was still calling me. This number is a scam. My mum received a message from this number purporting to be me saying that I had broken my phone and could she use another number to message me on Whatsapp. This is the "Mum I've lost my phone scam" and this number cannot be trusted.

Fraud A voice with an American accent told me they were from HRMC and I was "wanted" for fraud. They wanted me to call them...presumably to "help" me with this. I hung up as this is clearly not how the HMRC behaves and people are not "wanted" in this way in the UK.

Automated call stating that £300 & £1,100 had been taken from my card. “Press 1 to cancel”. I pressed 1 to try and find out who was calling. Was told by a guy with a foreign accent that the call was from London Paddington. He asked the reason for my call and then asked for my full name. At that point I put down the phone and registered this number. Obviously this was a fraudulent call.

In my considered opinion this is a 'SPAM' call. The caller repeatedly interrupted me when I was trying to speak! Said he was from an organisation called 'Premier Rewards'. Sounded highly suspicious - he was telling me he wanted to give me some money .... for nothing!! Yeah!!!

If affected call..." and gave the Fraud Line Interestingly, I look at my Blocked Numbers log and I have in the past blocked 0161 636 3721 - 3726, so it must be an allocation bought up by someone dodgy who just flips the outgoing number when it gets burned.
