Claimed to be from some charity representing Noah’s Ark charity. Started going through the script about Covid, strange times, struggling for funds etc. Before he got the point where he asked me for a donation, I told him that If I wanted to donate to a charity of my choice, I would do it myself. I would not be doing it over the phone to a complete stranger claiming to from a charity. Probably a scam.

I was called at about 11.35 am today with a recorded message saying that my card had been used to pay £700+ on Amazon and £2000 international money transfer, asking me to press 1 to speak to someone, which I did not do. I strongly suspect that this is a scam.

Called saying they were from a Online Trading Platform I had signed up for to earn extra money. I have not and never will sign up and said so to caller. They were persistent and insisted I had - I asked they remove my number and then hung up. Number is now blocked.

Received a call from this number tonight Nd on 2 other occasions in the last week. Automated call, phone today, Saturday asking for ***** press 1 if this is you, which it wasn t, but still went on with ref number and when to call their office, then gave a totally different number to the one shown on my caller id. Me thinks it is either ppi or debt collector? Looking at the comments, it looks like debt collector. The government should look to ban these scumbuckets! If you owe money then it should be the the people you know that chase you, not these rats!
