If you dial 02396, you get unobtainable after the first five figures. I suspect a foreign concealed number that you can't ring back to investigate.

non english accented man called Jack (or Kevin, or Peter)says he is from my internet provider. Asked how my internet is running and I said perfectly he thanks me and hangs up - three calls in two days, not all have had such a polite reply from me.

Callers already had information otherwise not publicly available, including number, current and past locations, etc.

Tried to call the number back and it says number not recognised - has called several times since, not calling back again

Caller claims to be from Openreach Titan telling us we are going to benefit from cheaper rates. When I asked for marketing material to be sent to me instead they went into panic overload! I believe this company to be cold calling with a view to trying to get you switch provider and possibly reduce your call costs.

This is a Consumer Compensation company so it is a cold call, probably about PPI. I keep getting calls from this number, which I didn't recognise so I called from a landlin...

I also get lots of calls from this number. I asked the nature of the company and why they are calling me for. The chap normally gets very aggressive repeating to me over and over that I am owed PPI from my bank. I just kept asking the nature of the call and what the name of his company. He did not like this one bit explaining, he wanted needed to confirm my postal details, and the person he was talking to. Just had a call from this number too, but I didnt pick up. LEWGIL, for info I have checked and it seems in Scotland we DO have to reregister every year :(

Do not know anybody in Edinburgh so assume it is yet another cold caller

they called to say i paid them last year for a listing - i didnt..... they said if i didnt pay i would be taken off google! Good luck!
