Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. He said that he was calling from London, when I asked him what the weather was like in India, and it would be set up today! Caller claimed to be from BT openreach calling about internet issues. They asked me to run a speed test and when I said I had 69 download and 18 upload they said that the difference was an issue. When I pointed out that it was always like that, and wasn't supposed to be the same they hung up. Obviously a scam.

Call from 07477 109562 at 10:35 on 05.06.2023 - I remained silent; the line remained silent Call from 07477 150182 at 15:57 on 07.06.2023 - {as above) Call from 07477 133622 at 15:35 on 16.06.2023 - Automated call stating "a letter had sent a week ago by HMRC and had been ignored. Court action was now under way. Press 1 to speak to an officer." I did this immediately, and a man with a near Asian accent, politely asked;"Can I help you?"

SCAM claims to be Tony from carphone warehouse. My Android identifies the caller as Al Kareem a legitimate company, so i answered, so it looks like they are trying to mask their Id by using that number when they call.

Amazon scam.

0113 328 0671 Sent me a text saying bailiffs and enforcement officers were going to attempt to retrieve my belongings and to call them - so I did in a panic and revived the most disgusting attitude from an Indian man telling me he was trying to retrieve my details and when I wouldn’t give him any he got very irate

recorded message saying my card had been used today for suspicious payments of £300 and £1350 today. Then asked me to press 1to cancel payments and a couple of other options. I terminated the call. Obviously a fraud/scam as no indication of which card was involved.

SCAM said they were from British Gas but didn't believe them as they said they supply us Gas and Electric but we have no Gas!

Call center offering business banking support BACS transfers

Just had automated voice call - stating that my card was used on Amazon and somehwere else by someone for amount £xyz and If you didn't make this transaction PRESS 1. Yeah right! SCAMMER!!

SCAM I have received calls from this number and then been charged over £1 per call.

someone claiming to be from O2 called me just now from this number. They were offering a 30% discount on all my bills until the end of my contract, asked me if I wanted to go ahead and told me I would get two text messages with a code I needed to read back to them. Usefully, the text messages were from O2 (the caller had gone into my profile and done a forgotten password which triggers the texts) but the messages said very clearly not to share the info with anyone, even if they claim to be working from O2.
