3rd call I've had today from automated spam callers. Each time I answer the call but don't speak and within a couple of seconds the line goes dead. Number blocked again until the next one

I think this is a scam number. Recorded American accent saying HMRC and that a fine would be implemented and to press 1 to speak to someone. Obviously I didn’t, line then went dead !!

Claimed to be from a Housing Repair Organisation about the building defects that I had reported. Totally untrue. 100% scam caller.
This number would appear to be à Plymouth number. However it is a recorded English voice about payments I have tried to make to Amazon and an International Money transfer.it is clearly a highly dangerous scam and similar to a call I had the other day from a different number with an American style voice. SCAM robo call saying there had been possible fraudulent activity on my bank account. When I questioned them they refused to say what bank it was and got angry. So I called them out as the scammer they are. According to the scammer all UK people are idiots. I reported it to action fraud.

2nd June 2023 - English-speaking female. Pretending to be Natwest bank asking for details in order to 'streamline' the account - quite obviously a scam number.
Paid number, calls and hangs up so you call back and charges premium rate.
