I received 7 calls in a period of 3 days, due to time zone these calls were in the middle of the night. this was not on.

unhelpful, rude, annoying, unsolicited calls to number(s) already registered with TPS (I ve escalated a formal complaint via TPS). When I returned the call, I too got the answering machine "this number can t take incoming calls" so called them on 0800 069 9303. they confirmed that they re Debt Masters Direct but wouldn t tell me how they got my number or why they were ringing me. Despicable company. Called me at exactly 11 am today when the minute s silence for Manchester outrage was starting. I asked Kirsty - the operative who called - if she knew what time it was and she put the phone down. Someone must know who this outfit is so we can name and shame?

The companies don’t "get" your number, they just block-dial numbers until they get a ring tone so TPS and ex-directory numbers do not offer any protection.

Received a call asking about my car accident - which of course I hadn t had. When I asked who told them I have been in an accident the weary sounding woman just said they would remove my details and rang off. Interesting that if you try to call them on this number it appears not to exist.
