Received a call from Judy Smith at Sigma Advice Company asking whether I had a car accident. Apparently she got my details from their Road Traffic Accident Dept. Number now blocked

This came down my iPhone as a recorded 4 sec message and couldn t play it.

Phoned at 11:30. No message. What's the point?

Have just had similar calls saying I would receive hundreds of calls. Confirmed name and postcode but when started on expiry date of card put phone down . Lady with Indian accent.

Seems to be University of Bristol Alumni organisation, phoning alumni. Other sites report fund-raising. Probably legitimate rather than fraudulent, but I have no knowledge.

Following up a comment that this number might be Friends of the Earth, I emailed FoE and was told the number is a fund-raising agency called Listen, used by FoE. At my request FoE has deleted my number. I suggest that anyone who keeps getting calls from this number also contacts FoE via the Contact Us form on the website, to ask for their phone details to be removed so no more calls are received.

01415689219 are the same people as 07930340688 and I am saying that with 100% proof. I have a phone that never rings and never gets used. Well, today, exactly 10min apart, it rang. It was the "Mobile"-masked number first, which I decided let go to missed call and I did well, because 10min later I had to make the Glasgow-looking masked number go to missed calls too, making this an impossible coincidence for an unused phone. I let the phone ring. When it finished I called 1471 and got the number 08001114612.As with others, I got no answer when I called the number back.

Any site which says that they are certified Microsoft technication (sic)is lying. There is no such word. The actual word is technicians.

Had at least one call a day over the past week but no one ever leaves a message and when I do pick up no one answers and the call is cut off. My partner works shifts therefore sleeps during the day sometimes and been disturbed several times.
