SCAM / SPAM 01484305524 Electronic female American voice purporting to be from Amazon. Doesn't ask for a name just launches into spiel. So far 3x calls today, all using different phone numbers, and numerous previous "Amazon" calls over past weeks using different numbers. Tend to be worse on a Thursday. I've signed up to the TPS service by they still keep coming through. Why can't somebody stop these devious crooks?

repeated calls from this number which I do not usually answer but on the 1 occasion I did it was a silent call. I phoned them to complain and asked to be removed from their data base. I subscribe to Telephone Preference Service but still get these nuisance calls

Number pretends to be HMRC calling about tax fraud registered against my name. Automated call, threatens you with imminent arrest if you hang up or don't press 1. Once you press one, a very deep Asian sounding accent answers and asks you for your details. Which they should have since they claim to have opened a case against you. On pressing them, they do not divulge their name or location. Again they ask you to tell them your name and address or be arrested. I admit I lost my temper and a few expletives fle

SCAM Seems to be a call center as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. Got a call from this number saying they could reduce the insurance costs on my television from ?7 per month to ?5. This is remarkable as I don t have television insurance. They asked for my bank details to "set up a direct debit". I declined so they said they would put the forms in the post. I look forward to receiving them. They called themselves TV Guard.
i ordered an o2 sim card yesterday and since then i have had 7 missed calls of this number. I have my phone out at work as my granddad is very poorly, which my manager allows so i can hear if anything is urgent, having them ring me when my manager is sat next to me and constantly ringing me isnt a good look!!!

Numerous calls from this number. also from 01818894557. I attempted to call back both these numbers but numbers do not exist. I got so fed up I played along with him for 15 mins - he wanted to take control of my PC in order to fix (non existent) problems with my router. What he would have done is anybody s guess, but I assume it would not be to my advantage and probably would have cost me money !
