I have been called several times yesterday back to back from firstly a London number twice, then twice from private number and this one today. They all start by saying am I ****** when I ask who they are they mumble something then ask me if I own or rent my property. The person who called today was female and I could actually understand what she said, except for the initial mumble. The first two London calls where listed as suspected spam, however, some of calls in this category have been bona fide.
As soon as I picked up the phone all I could hear was laughing. I hung up after that

Ring for a long time before hanging up. Didn’t leave a message. I never answer any call from an unidentified number. If they’re genuine they can leave a message and I’ll call back.

Insurance SPAM This number and very similar numbers have been calling me daily for a couple of weeks. I have missed the previous calls but answered today. A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. A SCAM - be very careful as the person on the phone will try to get you to download a programme called "anydesk.com" which gives remote access to your computer. In my case the person said he was from SKY and was checking on my report on bad internet signal (that part was true). He took me through a few dialogue boxes (thankfully I knew that I was not changing settings). He then tried to get me to download the programme. Thankfully I questioned it. He hung up. SCAM So rude on the phone asking me about social housing. I have had numerous calls from this number I have blocked all numbers and asked repeatedly to be taken off. The girl said "you don't even know what the call is about" I said can you take me off again she said "were just gonna keep calling you".

They have phoned my office number about 10 times and I haven't answered. Since my office number has voicemail it is rather surprising they haven't just left a message if they were a genuine caller. Therefore I believe these to be scammers. SCAM
They rang saying it was the Inland Revenue and that I had ignored letters and owed money and to press 1 to speak to their operative which I did not do. I blocked the number. I am a pensioner with heart problems so not impressed. It was a recorded message which sounded robotic - hope this helps and hope you can take it down. I've reported it to Inland Revenue via their on line form.

This is a scam. they try to get you to invest. they never give up and will use different numbers all over England. Each person who calls you is of Indian origins. Not possible in England not to have one person who is not and indian. Especially with Englands diversity. Just dont answer or hang up and block the number.
