Keeps calling I have ignored all previous calls answered today but there was no sound on the other end of the call.

The person knew my name and address BUT the wrong postcode - it was way off! As I said it was the wrong postcode they asked me for mine which I refused to give and told them as they had the wrong information I was not the person they needed.

My mother had a text from this number stating that their had been fraudulent activity, she had apparently spent ?40,00 in Argos this morning which she hadn t. Someone rang from that number claiming to be from Natwest but my mum was sceptical so she rung off and called me. I looked up a real number for Natwest (0800 011 3312) which she rang. It turned out the text and the phone call were from Natwest and someone had used the card to try and buy something in Argos. The card has now been cancelled with a repla

They called to offer me a free pension review. Knew my address and mobile number. They said new regulations entitled me to check I was not being overcharged for my pension. Seemed very keen for me to get a an IFA to visit. I asked if they were FCA approved and they said no, but that the IFA s were. Rang off as they were trying to press me to commit to give permission for them to access my pension details

This Indian fella rings me every couple of weeks always calls me by a different first name usually as far as it gets but today I stopped him and told him my first name then says he s from some fraud investigation unit asked how I was I said was ok till you rang and got my name wrong his reply was so what s your fuckin name repeated it about 5 times I said who you think your talking to and he put phone down tryd ringing the number but it s dead or something

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from.
