Received call from this number claiming to be "The Preservation Advisory Service", saying that an article in the Telegraph had highlighted how additional home insulation could reduce air quality and that they offered a free air quality measurement service. When I asked which company he worked for, he said his manager would tell me after I had arranged a visit from them. I pushed for this and he hung up.

Someone called my mobile from this number 02087258118, using an automated voice, saying they were going to suspend my National Insurance number because of unusual activity!! Very threatening and loud voice saying I had to ring back this number immediately. To me that sounds like a scam because anything serious and legal they would have phoned and spoken to me and sent an email. Its twice now that my mobile number has been contacted by scammers and its getting really annoying.
I don t answer any calls that are not in my phone book. Just blocked this scum caller. Won t be pestered anymore. They are not worth worrying about!

This number rang today but hung up part way through the answerphone message. After reading comments here and elsewhere, I rang and asked for our number to be removed from their database. The guy I spoke to was happy to do this and also happy to tell me that the third party from whom they receive numbers is Communications Avenue.
