This looks to be a scam. I telephoned this number after missing a call and receiving a voicemail message from someone calling himself "John" asking me to call another number. The above telephone number is an automated voicemail service(possibly USA), with no company name given or any indication of identity.

No ring, no answer, immediately terminateed (not by me) The only possible reason for this nuisance call is to check my number is active, which the operator does not need to do, no one else has a valid reason to. Any legitamate reason to verify a phone number would include verification of the recipient, and that's unlikely because of fraud.

I recieved text from this number - claimed to be a Royal Mail message saying they were holding a parcel for me that had a surcharge - it asked me to use a link to arrange delivery.
