Unknown number, called and didn’t leave a message. Judging by the fact that a handful of other people looked it up in the last hour it’s some sort of automated spam call.

Put another person on the phone when she got flustered, male then started asking me my security question, what model of phone I had, mt network provider was etc. SCAM - avoid!! Automated message supposedly 'Bank Security' regarding two recent payments made by card....1 to Amazon for £300 and the 2nd an International payment of £1000+. The usual crap is then given re pressing 1 or 2 depending on how you want to proceed. Complete load of rubbish. I get regular calls from a variety of numbers all exactly the same. They want shooting! Bloody nuisance.

Claimed to need your details as part of the “tax advisory group” to claim money back from HMRC. When I said I had done that direct they said they can go back the maximum amount of years. I said yes you can do that direct and then he said okah bye and hung up.
Not sure who from. But claiming to be from Crawley hospital. West Sussex. Advising of an appointment at the hospital. I thought they would connect via NHS number or something . Not sure.

The man told me he was from a credit help place, didn't offer any security checks or business name. Possible spam or fraud, doesn't make sense why a business would be calling from a mobile number either.
Call center fed up with this number calling so I answered. Says they were from triage Housing about cavity wall insulation that we had and they can get us compensation. Told them we didn't have it so he progressed to to say the Government site said we did and how did i know that we didn't and they weren't trying to sell anything. I told them it was newly renovated and remove me from their calling list or I would report as a nuisance call. He hung up

I established that the caller was a fraud and called them out at which point they stopped being polite and friendly and began to taunt and be abusive. Refused to tell me the name on the account or the account number because it was a recorded call, having told me it was a secure line and that he would "prove" to me that he was from Virgin if I gave him the information he asked for.
